Uptown Fashion Week Presents a Special Series of Fashion Events during New York Fashion Week, September 8th-11th.

MUNDO.- Uptown Fashion Week (UFW) - New York NY. Washington Heights’ contribution to New York Fashion Week, returns to the United Palace for three nights in September, presenting international designers and welcoming the public to experience the excitement of the Runway through live-streaming.
Now in its third year at the Palace, UFW is expanding to offer more shows and open the doors to the exclusive world of fashion to more people.
Unlike most fashion events that are restricted to all but the most exclusive audiences, UFW will live-stream the action on the VIP runway so guests seated in the theatre can watch on the Palace’s 50-foot screen. Unlike most live-stream runway shows, the UFW live-stream will include a hostess who will provide behind the scenes interviews with the designers. Tickets for the live screening will be available at the United Palace ticket center.

Plus Size Designers Exhibition will be help at 7pm in the foyer and mezzanine. This showcase is open to the public the exhibition will showcase exceptional plus size looks by celebrated local designers and will be presented at the Palace for the first time. Thursday, September 10th - International Collective showcase

This special showcase will feature recognized and celebrated international fashion designers Douglas Tapia, Jose Zafra, Angie Polanco, Miguel Genao, Migdoel Figueroa, Melissa Duran, Hector Musse, Carlos Sierra, Alejandro Ramirez and others to be announced shortly.
